The VIP NAS appliances are designed with the needs of the small and medium-sized enterprises in mind. They are easy to setup, scalable and branch-ready network attached storage platforms that offer excellent price performance value, enhanced management and superior reliability with maximum uptime and usability.

The modular design of the VIP NAS appliance provides seamless file-level I/O support for most networked storage applications such as storage expansion, file-share, web server, as well as compliancy and remote site replication.  And with the optional iSCSI add-on, simultaneous support for block-level I/O can be combined to deliver a more expanded and cost-effective tiered storage for support of additional applications.

Based on the Intel Architecure, the VIP NAS appliances are pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 Software on mirrored drives; Hot-Swappable RAID Edition SATA II or SAS hard disks along with hardware based multiple RAID level protection and the Intel Xeon Dual-Core Processors.
